About the Role/Responsibilities:
We require an experienced Registered Manger of College House And Harbour East Outreach.
The Registered Manager is responsible for leading the children's home, ensuring high-quality care, staff management, and compliance with The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards.
Their day involves supervising and supporting staff, overseeing children's care plans and safeguarding, managing budgets and home operations, liaising with multi-agency professionals, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. They maintain records, conduct audits, and prepare for inspections while driving continuous improvement to enhance the home's stability and outcomes for children.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Enhanced DBS for Children’s and Adults (we can obtain for you)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Diploma Level 3 children and young people (minimal standard)
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it)
* Thorough Understanding of Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards
* Experience in Safeguarding and Child Protection
* Strong Leadership and Staff Management Skills
* Driving licence
Desirable:
* Trauma-Informed Practice Knowledge
* Mediation and Conflict Resolution Skills
* Ability to Manage Budgets and Resources
* Ability to manage a large team with measurable outcomes
* Ability to upskill the team to share the expectations of the work load.
