Discovery are currently looking for Support Workers to join our team in Somerton!
About the role:
We are currently looking for active and upbeat Support Workers to provide support to 7 ladies and 1 gentleman with learning disabilities in their own home. Aged between their 30's & 60's, the people you will be supporting have a wide range of interests and abilities meaning no week is ever the same. From Cliff Richard to Harry Potter, this home is usually a buzz with something going on for the people we support.

- Heading out to the Theatre,
- Enjoying National Trust excursions
- Planning a big party
- Listening and having a dance to some music
- Sitting and watching a good film with some popcorn!
Whatever the week looks like, it's usually good fun and there is so much more we could do with the addition of new Support Workers to the home!
Your role as a Support Worker will be to help these people live the life they choose whilst promoting independence, individuality and encouraging them to find opportunities in all aspects of their life. Other duties will include, but are not limited to, full support with medication, personal care helping with finances and shopping
