Pay Rates:
1. £13.08 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay
2. £14.48 per hour Umbrella
Working Days and Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) Hours TBC
Please note: You must hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
Summary:
The post-holder will provide a wide range of administrative tasks to support the effective and efficient provision of Healthcare within a Prison setting. They will work as an integral member of a team and be expected to use their own initiative.
Responsibilities (But not limited to):
1. Liaise with various staff/departments to deliver effective administrative support.
2. Deal with a range of queries, maintaining a courteous and pleasant manner at all times.
3. Use of various computer systems and software packages to ensure patient information is relevant and up to date, including data input and retrieval of information.
4. Processing, recording and collating information for statistical purposes.
5. Administering waiting lists, processing internal and external referrals.
6. Scheduling appointments to ensure clinical capacity is utilised.
7. Booking patient movement requests, interpreters and other patient related services.
8. Maintenance of medical records filing systems.
9. Typing duties - reports, letters and meeting minutes as required.
10. Assist with the training of new administrative staff as and when required.
11. Participate in staff meetings.
12. Provide cover to other administrative staff during periods of leave.
13. General office duties such as photocopying, scanning, sorting post and faxing.
14. To participate in the Trust's Appraisal Process and participate in agreed training and development initiatives when identified.
15. Any other tasks or projects within the remit of the band.
Knowledge and Skills & Experience:
1. Ability to work as part of a team.

6. The ability to ensure accuracy in own work.
7. The ability to effectively use office admin systems such as diary management and filing systems.
8. Knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
9. Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations.
Qualifications:
1. 4 GCSE's Grades A-C to include English Language (or equivalent Qualification) plus 1 year's Secretarial/admin/clerical experience.
2. OR
3. NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent qualification) plus 1 year's secretarial/admin/clerical experience.
4. OR
5. 2 years' secretarial/admin/clerical experience.
