Job Title: Learner Recruitment & Onboarding Officer
Based: Hybrid (homebased with travel to Head Office in Burntwood)
Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 DOE
Hours: Full time / 35 hours per week
*This role is fixed term until December 2025*

About the role
As a Learner Recruitment & Onboarding Officer, you will provide effective IAG to all applicants. You will work with our clients to understand their requirements and ensure they are receiving the best customer service. You will ensure that all applicants starting an apprenticeship with Busy Bees Education and Training are the right applicants, on the right programme to achieve the right outcome. You will then work with the successful applicants to prepare them to start their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide an outstanding experience for all learners and customers.
* Build and develop relationships with other departments.
* Manage and support customer contracts.
* Fill vacancies with the best apprentices through effective recruitment procedures.
* Utilise BBET’s robust selection process, putting forward candidates for interview that are eligible and of quality.
* Assess applicants' needs and reasonable adjustments, liaising with other stakeholders to ensure the learning level and journey is suitable.
* Produce monthly reports on customers and any current vacancies.
* Highlight concerns to management to ensure customer satisfaction scores are high.
* Hit targets for starts according to the company plan.
* Enroll and induct learners onto their apprenticeship program in a timely manner.
Key Skills and Experience
* Excellent knowledge of the sector.
* Up to date knowledge of legislation.
* Able to work unsupervised and maintain work efficiency.
* IAG qualifications to suit the role.
* Managing CRM systems so all data is correct.
* Experience in building a portfolio of candidates and tracking candidates.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Experience in successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision.
* Experience in school engagement and networking.
* Proven experience in building a portfolio of candidates and tracking candidate status.
