Position Summary
The Facilities Management Team provides front-line operational support, including facilities management, construction, and project management, for both the commercial properties in Northwest London and Car Giant’s diverse property portfolio.
Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management, Head of FM and Projects, Facilities and Project Manager, and any individuals delegated by them, the successful candidate will support the Facilities Management Department by undertaking planned and reactive maintenance.
The candidate will ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, profitably, and in compliance with Health & Safety legislation, prioritising high standards, safety, and timely delivery.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
* Proven experience in maintenance, construction, and facilities management, specialising in carpentry and related trades.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
* Competence in Health & Safety legislation and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Self-motivated, professional, and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Positive attitude and the ability to integrate and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Full current UK driving licence (required for travel between sites).
* Adaptable communication skills for managing a variety of situations.
* Ability to make effective, informed, and timely decisions, even under pressure.
* Resilience under pressure, maintaining a positive outlook and encouraging others.
* Ability to adapt to a changing environment and remain flexible in approach.

* City and Guilds Joinery Certificate or equivalent.
* NVQ Carpentry Certificate or equivalent.
* IPAF certification (for operating powered access equipment).
* PASMA certification (for working with mobile access towers).
