Job Summary
NHS Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West are offering an exciting opportunity to a new position as our Senior Corporate Office Manager with a good understanding of good governance and expertise in professional secretariat management. The post holder will be responsible for providing a corporate secretariat function to the Board of Directors and its core committees, ensuring their effective running and in compliance with the corporate governance framework and Insightful Board. The post holder will act as a point of contact to the Executives for secretariat support and support the Director of Governance, Executive team and Chairs on issues relating to highly complex corporate governance, ensuring the organisation's corporate business is undertaken and directed to the highest standards of probity and according to statutory and legislative requirements, and in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will line manage the Executive Assistant Managers and Corporate Assistant Managers and act as a mentor within the team to ensure delivery of the highest standards of corporate governance and best practice.
This is a full-time post with a requirement to be in the office at least two days a week, with some level of flexibility offered under the organisation's hybrid working framework. The post holder will be a positive role model, have a broad knowledge and technical understanding of good governance, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work on their own initiative. Providing cross cover arrangements for the team for annual leave and sickness as the business needs require.

Job Responsibilities
1. Maintaining robust corporate office arrangements on behalf of the Director of Governance.
2. Administering the Board and Board Development sessions of the ICB and committees of the Board.
3. Line management of the Executive and Corporate Assistant Managers and one Governance support assistant within BOB ICB.
4. Implementing and keeping under review the ICB corporate calendar; forward planners and ensuring committee effectiveness is undertaken in line with the corporate calendar to support compliance and development of the ICB Board.
5. Provide administrative support to the ICP during times of absence.
6. Adherence to legal and statutory guidance and compliance, and implementing local policies and procedures in relation to appropriate corporate business practices.
