The business A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a P2P Master Data Specialist to join a global business in Lancashire. You will join growing finance team playing a pivotal role in optimising and standardising P2P master data processes. Role Reporting to the P2P Global Process Owner (GPO), this position focuses on enhancing data accuracy, streamlining processes, and ensuring vendor master data management enables timely and reliable insights for business decision-making. Duties include: Ensure vendor master data is clean, accurate, and consistently maintained to support daily operations and future system go-lives. Propose and implement simplification, automation, and innovation initiatives in alignment with Global Functions and Business Units. Identify and support process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vendor master data quality in partnership with the GPO. Develop and deliver structured training programs to ensure global understanding of new processes and tools related to vendor master data management. Prioritise and implement Application Change Requests (ACRs) to enhance data systems and processes. Leverage Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and related technologies to improve efficiencies and accuracy in vendor master data management. Act as a change agent, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in data management across the organisation. Monitor and develop KPIs for vendor master data quality, collaborating with business areas to drive alignment and improvement. Serve as a subject matter expert in P2P and SAP, providing guidance to ensure effective data management practices. Person Relevant qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience in P2P master data management. Proficiency in SAP with strong knowledge of data management and analytics tools. Advanced skills in Excel, Teams, and Microsoft applications. Strong conceptual skills with a keen interest in analytics and data quality improvement.
