Our Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget at our West Midlands Offices.

What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Working with internal teams, assisting in the co-ordination of quotations and proposal development, including pre-tender site surveys.
2. Creating project work schedules, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
3. Procuring materials & services and negotiating with subcontractors.
4. Reviewing contractual documentation; assist Project Managers with commercial and contractual matters.
5. Managing the cash flow on the project; preparing financial information for Directors and Project Managers.
6. Accurately record and process related documents and records.
7. Building and maintaining customer confidence.
8. Staying up to date with all relevant standards and codes of practice.
What You’ll Need:
1. You will have at least four years’ experience in managing commercial work in a mechanical and engineering environment and a detailed knowledge of contract conditions.
2. High levels of energy, self-motivation, and self-sufficiency.
3. Organised and highly methodical.
4. Personable with good negotiating skills.
5. Possess strong customer and quality focus.
6. IT literate with good numerical reasoning skills.
7. Full UK Driving License.
8. Degree related qualification in QS, BSC (Hons) in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
9. CSCS Card for site visits.
This is an office-based role and would require the successful Quantity Surveyor to attend Monday-Friday at either Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX or Units 1C-1D Pearsall Drive, Oldbury, B69 2RA.
