Graduate Sales Opportunity in St Albans
Internally based initially before progressing into a client-facing role. Excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into sales, no experience required.
Salary: £25k-£27K base salary + bonus

What would my role be?
As a Sales Trainee, you will join a well-established sales team, largely representing their full range of brick and masonry products. In your first 12 months, you will learn all aspects of the business and have opportunities to shadow experienced sales team members on client meetings. In this role, you will develop towards targeting architects, building contractors, property developers, and house builders. The aim of this graduate role is to progress you into a client-facing position, initially going on meetings with another member of the sales team before starting to lead them independently.
Responsibilities:
1. Build relationships with Customers and Suppliers and communicate effectively and promptly.
2. Prepare and send quotes and sales information to customers as requested to agreed deadlines.
3. Arrange samples for projects and maintain stocks and showroom facility where applicable.
4. Use the company project HUB to provide administration support to the external sales team.
5. Be proactive in organising databases for mailshots and supporting company marketing activities.
6. Meet Company expectations in relation to target income, company procedures, and KPIs to ensure you are on track for progressing up the sales ladder.
7. Embrace training development on sales and product knowledge.
8. Any other duty deemed by the directors to be in the interest of the team in achieving its objectives.
What is the package offered to a graduate?
1. £25,000-27,000 basic salary.
2. OTE circa £30,000.
3. 25 days holiday + BH (increases with years of service).

6. Company car scheme becomes applicable after the 6-month probation period.
