Kingsdown is a special school and is part of a Multi Academy Trust known as SEN Trust Southend. It is for pupils aged 3-14 years who have severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties.
We are looking to appoint a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to start 6th January 2025.
37 hours per week, 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 3.30pm finish on Friday, term time plus 1 week during the Summer holidays.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join the busy office team at our friendly school. You will be the first point of contact for both telephone and face-to-face enquiries.
We are looking for someone that has a can-do attitude and is willing to get involved in all aspects of school administration. You must have the ability to establish excellent working relationships both within the organisation and externally.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required together with a calm, positive and professional approach. The ability to work accurately and be able to prioritise and work under pressure is essential. You will also be expected to respect and observe a high level of confidentiality within the nature of the role.
Applicants must be computer literate (Microsoft Office) and previous experience of working within a school office environment using Sims.Net would be an advantage.
