My client in North West London is seeking a compassionate and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social work practices, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be committed to supporting children and families through complex situations. Key responsibilities of this role: Conduct comprehensive assessments of childrens needs, including initial and core assessments, and develop tailored care plans. Undertake Section 47 enquiries to investigate allegations of child abuse or neglect, ensuring childrens safety and well-being. Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies, including the police, health-care providers, and educational staff, to coordinate effective interventions. Provide direct support and interventions to children and families, including crisis intervention, counselling, and advocacy. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including case notes, reports, and legal documentation.
