Role Description
As a Workshop Controller at Halliwell Jones, you will be responsible for overseeing the workshop and its staff, ensuring the achievement of agreed levels of quality, efficiency, and profitability. You will manage the day-to-day workshop activities, specifically relating to BMW technical issues and systems, while monitoring overall productivity. Your role will involve providing leadership and support to the team, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, and maintaining a smooth and efficient operation. You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement within the workshop and ensuring all work aligns with company and brand guidelines. This is full time role based onsite at Southport.
Skills
* Expertise in fault diagnosis and a strong passion for BMW products and technology
* Ability to deliver first-time fixes and meet customer satisfaction
* Capable of working autonomously and meeting deadlines across a wide range of tasks
* Skilled in warranty write-ups and recording chargeable labour and workshop consumables
* Highly motivated team player with excellent attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
* Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with technical advancements
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities
* Proficient in computer applications and diagnostic equipment
