Job Title: Site Based Project Manager
Location: Edinburgh
Project: 230-bedroom Hotel Refurbishment
Contract Value: £11M
Job Type: Full-time, Site-based (5 days a week)
Salary & Package: £50,000-£55,000 (hourly rate paid)
Reporting to: Senior Project Manager
Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all on-site activities for the Hotel refurbishment project.
2. Conduct site induction, start-ups, and health & safety protocols.
3. Monitor and update the project program and generate progress reports.
4. Ensure the project runs on time and within budget.
5. Coordinate with the Senior Project Manager and the trades on site.
6. Supervise all refurbishment works and manage on-site workforce.
7. Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
8. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
9. Provide daily site updates to the Senior Project Manager.
10. Manage logistics, equipment, and materials for smooth project execution.
Requirements:
1. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and First Aid certification are mandatory.
2. Proven experience in hotel refurbishment or commercial office fit-out projects.
3. Ability to manage projects valued up to £11M.
4. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and lead a team.
7. Flexibility to work on-site from Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.
