Job summary Sherwood Forest Hospitals (SFH) is a nationally recognised acute hospital trust and is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual as an Emergency Planning Support Officer (EPSO) to strengthen the trust's Emergency Planning, Resilience and Response (EPRR) arrangements. The post holder will carry out the day-to-day administration and act as a key point of contact for the team, working with colleagues throughout the Trust on the emergency planning and business continuity workstreams. They will support various EP projects and assist the training and exercising programmes provided by the Emergency Planning Officer. This role is high-profile and will provide the successful candidate with an excellent development opportunity both within the trust and across the wider health and social care system. The ideal candidate will be a team player with considerable experience of working in acute hospital settings and a strong track record of delivering across multiple priorities, working on their own initiative and building relationships with a wide range of colleagues. An interest in emergency planning is key and some experience of incident response and/or business continuity processes would be advantageous.
