Role Overview: Join our dynamic AHP Corporate team as the AHP Strategic Education Lead. In this pivotal role, you will support the AHP Director in setting and implementing the strategic educational direction for our multi-professional workforce. Your efforts will drive innovative growth in professional, clinical, and research practices across NHSGGC, aligning with both local and national policy drivers. Key Responsibilities: Lead education governance and research for AHP practice across the organisation. Oversee the delivery, planning, development, monitoring, and review of AHP multi-professional services. Provide strategic leadership and educational governance across 12 professions (3,492 AHPs). Develop and implement national and NHS GG&C policies related to AHP services. Establish a "NHSGGC Centre of Excellence for AHP Education Learning and Development." Support the development of an AHP research and innovation strategy, including doctoral student support. Foster Advanced/Consultant Level practice to support a whole systems approach. Collaborate with Higher Education Institutions to deliver Advanced Practice modular programmes. Lead NMAHP programmes, including Transforming Roles, AHP Advanced Practitioners, Frailty Practitioners, and research and innovation. Partner with wider AHP professional networks to enhance collaborative working and develop cross-system initiatives. Principal Objective: Inspire and promote systemic educational improvements in clinical care and healthcare quality. Foster a learning and research-based culture that values continuing professional development and strives for excellence in patient safety and care.
