Due to a period of growth, Re-Gen Waste is currently recruiting for the role of Business Development Administrator within our Business Development team. The Business Development Administrator supports the business development team by managing administrative tasks, collating and updating sales and production data, and reporting tasks across customer portfolios and multiple sites. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of business development activities and contributes to the overall growth of the organisation.
Main Duties:
* Create and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
* Create schedules on a weekly basis in conjunction with production plans.
* Liaise with customers and key internal and external stakeholders as required.
* Provide collection schedules and paperwork to ensure the efficient execution of collections and loadings.
* Organise all paperwork in an efficient and timely manner and circulate to relevant teams.
* Submit relevant paperwork to external bodies as required.
* Provide administrative support to the weighbridge and transport teams, including booking and tracking shipments.
* Sourcing cost-effective and time-efficient transport solutions.
* Update weekly and monthly sales pricing and production reports.
* Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reporting tasks across customer portfolios and multiple sites.
* Undertake market research and qualification of new markets/customers.
* Update presentations, product specifications, and other marketing materials.
* Meet and greet visitors, take minutes, and assist with the preparation of company events, exhibitions, and conferences as required.
* Book and arrange travel, transport, and accommodation, including car hire bookings for the company.
* Provide PA support to the Commercial Director and perform ad-hoc reception duties.
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role.
2. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task across a number of business functions.
3. Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
4. Fully competent in MS Office applications.
5. Excellent IT skills including experience in PowerBI reports, CRM databases, Business Central, Dynamic 365, or similar.
6. Highly competent in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
7. Highly motivated, can work independently, and use own initiative to complete tasks.
8. Excellent communication skills and can build and maintain effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
Hours of Work: 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
