Why this job matters
EE is over 12 months into a brand transformation to make EE the lead brand for our consumer business at BT Group. We are looking for a seasoned data strategist & communications planner with a passion for customer data and audience development to advance our audience-led strategy in marketing and communications.
What you’ll be doing
* Create our customer-centric data strategy based on what we want to know about customers.
* Decide on key attributes to understand about customers and integrate them into our data strategy.
* Work with the BV&P teams to capture and productionize that data.
* Integrate the data strategy into the brand & marketing strategy to ensure customer insight-led decisions.
* Change the way we think about data, moving from a product-focused approach to a customer-centric one.
* Identify ways to optimize commercial performance through an audience-led approach.
Audience Development & Planning
* Create a data strategy for a deeper understanding of core customer cohorts.
* Develop detailed profiles of core audiences to inform long-term brand and communications planning.
* Embed the audience & data strategy across the organization, influencing necessary support and change.
Data lead on brand transformation projects
* Create audience-led data strategies for significant brand transformation projects.
The skills and experience you will have under your belt
* Extensive experience in creating data strategies and developing audience profiles.
* Commercial acumen in data-led brand and commercial management.
* Ability to navigate complex environments and overcome challenges.
* Passion for driving change and exceeding customer needs.
* Experience with PEGA and data systems.
* Preferred: Communications planning experience in data/customer need-led strategies.
Skills:
* Highly analytical with a passion for data, capable of translating complex data into actionable strategies.
* Commercially savvy with the ability to link priorities into data strategies.
* Deep understanding of audience development through data & insight.
* Master storyteller through data, influencing brand strategy and communications planning.
* Proven influencer and change maker in a complex organization.
