Job Description:
New opportunity for a Tax Manager to join the Tax compliance and reporting team of this Big 4 firm. This is an exceptional opportunity to partner with some of Scotland’s largest businesses, helping them to achieve greater control and efficiencies across tax and finance.
As Manager, you will play a key role in delivering both compliance and advisory work, as well as supporting with a variety of work across the wider firm network. You will also support Partners and Senior Managers with expanding this network, building robust client relationships and identifying new client opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and maintaining a pragmatic, commercial approach
* Managing end-to-end processes for your own portfolio of clients, from identifying opportunities through to delivery and completion
* Working with a range of individuals, both colleagues and external specialists from across the globe
* Providing trusted and insightful tax advice to clients, acting as the key day-to-day point of contact for your portfolio
* Maintaining a high level of client service at all times
You will be a qualified Accountant or Tax Advisor (CA/ACCA/ACA/CTA) or legal professional with relevant corporate tax experience gained within a firm of professional advisors or industry. You will have a thorough understanding of UK corporation tax issues, particularly in relation to compliance and reporting. Advisory experience is advantageous. Excellent oral and written communication skills are imperative as is the ability to build effective working relationships with current and potential clients.
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits. Our client is an inclusive employer and is happy to consider flexible working arrangements.
