Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Estimator who will be a key member of our project team. Assisting with managing aspects of the commercial and contractual activities within each project, your role will play a crucial part in the project's financial success and ensuring that the highest standards of quality are delivered within budget and on time.
Responsibilities
1. Provide clear, timely and accurate information, advice, and reports to the Section Manager, the client, and the Board.
2. Support senior members of the team in the day-to-day management of projects.
3. Ensure the company's quality assurance processes are followed on all projects.
4. Attend, contribute to, and minute meetings (including countrywide and international where necessary).
5. Ensure standard documentation is used when presenting any external information.
6. Carry out site visits and inspections where necessary.
7. Undertake relevant training as required by the company.
8. Commit to study and achieve a professional qualification (if not already achieved).
9. Demonstrate effective project and task management skills in every task.
10. Meet or exceed target efficiency percentage for billable hours.
Qualifications
1. Relevant qualification in M.Sc. Quantity Surveying (or currently working towards it).
2. Proficiency in using surveying tools and software.
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
