Job Type Full-time, Monday - Friday (Including oncall weekends) Flexible start and end times Salary £40,000 annually Location Paignton, Devon Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Implement and monitor care plans tailored to individual resident needs. Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care. Maintain accurate medical records and oversee medication management for residents. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of resident care and service standards. Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Develop and deliver training programs for staff to enhance skills and knowledge in dementia and mental health care. Champion a person-centered approach to care, promoting the dignity and independence of all residents. Manage budgets effectively and ensure efficient allocation of resources. Prepare for and participate in inspections and audits to maintain CQC standards. Essential Qualifications Proven experience in a managerial role within a care setting. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality assurance processes. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Desired Experience Experience working specifically with dementia and mental health patients. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Previous involvement in training and developing staff within a care home environment. Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
