Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join a hardworking team in a Hospital based in Enfield, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases and skin cancer. As the Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will head the nurse-led services of a brand-new department. This role is full-time; however, part-time could also be considered.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active on the NMC register.
2. Adequate clinical experience and skin cancer knowledge.
3. Leadership and communication skills.
4. Evidence of teaching and leadership management training.
5. Proactive, reliable, and compassionate team member.
6. Effective interpersonal skills, clinical reasoning, and independent problem-solving/decision-making skills.
The role of the clinical nurse specialist is a very active and important role in the provision of emotional, psychological, and practical support, symptom control, and health education for the patient and their family throughout the cancer journey.
