We are looking for a Project Manager to join the National Theatre Estates Capital Projects team on a fixed term contract for 2 years.
The purpose of the role
This role is responsible for the day-to-day planning, development and delivery of Estates capital and infrastructure projects for the National Theatre. The projects will vary in size and complexity and this role is expected to manage a portfolio of projects in different stages of planning and delivery at any one time, working closely with the team and internal stakeholders to maximise the outcome and benefits within the constraints set by the project parameters, including cost, resource and access. The role is expected to deliver these projects without adversely impacting day to day operations, in particular rehearsals and performances.
The successful candidate will have the following:
* Demonstrable experience of managing capital projects.
* Experience of working across a programme of projects concurrently.
* A highly motivated individual who has the ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
* An appetite and aptitude to absorb and understand complex concepts.
* Experience of dealing with senior leaders, colleagues, contractors, consultants.
