Continuous Improvement Engineer
Location:Ayrshire
Salary:Up to £45k
HRC Recruitment are assisting our client in the manufacturing industry with their search for a Continuous Improvement Engineerto drive operational excellence and efficiency across their manufacturing processes. You will play a critical role in identifying improvement opportunities, optimising processes, and ensuring best practices are implemented and sustained.
Key Responsibilities
* Pinpoint inefficiencies, risks, and bottlenecks in manufacturing processes.
* Evaluate current operations and document improvement areas.
* Design and execute initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
* Lead cross-functional projects to drive measurable improvements.
* Track KPIs such as Conversion Cost, Production Output, and Business Waste.
* Provide data-driven reports to measure success and inform stakeholders.
* Collaborate with teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
* Train employees on best practices and new process implementations.
* Maintain process standards to support safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
* Research and implement industry best practices.
About You
* Strong background in process engineering, continuous improvement, or lean manufacturing.
* Experience in manufacturing, production, or a related industry.
* Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
* Ability to work across departments, influencing and driving change
* Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
