About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistants to support students aged 2-19 with autism and complex needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.
As a teaching assistant, you will:
1. Provide tailored support to students during lessons, activities, and therapies.
2. Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
3. Encourage students' social, emotional, and academic development.
4. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to achieve the best outcomes.
5. Foster independence and life skills to prepare students for future opportunities.
About You
We're looking for candidates with:
1. A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN.
2. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trusting relationships.
3. Experience in an SEN setting (desirable but not essential - training is provided).
4. A proactive and flexible approach to supporting diverse needs.
