As an Area Manager, you will ensure your site runs smoothly to meet customer demand. You will lead a team that helps keep our operations safe, efficient, and of high quality, while managing various projects across our network to drive productivity.

A day in the life
You will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, ensuring maximum productivity. Your main focus will be to cultivate a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You will oversee process improvements within your area and drive their implementation. A typical day is varied, including everything from routine team management and daily operational responsibilities to process improvement and large-scale operational contingency tasks. You will also serve as a role model and mentor to new managers.

Preferred qualifications (not required to apply):
* Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
* Experience in another logistics environment
* Relevant experience with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting
Experience in supply chain management and transportation concepts: forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics, delivery performance, carrier negotiation, inventory management, S&OP.
