Duties:
1. Manage full cycle bookkeeping.
2. Reconcile accounts.
3. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
4. Post journal entries using Sage 50.
5. Prepare source deductions, WSIB, tax payments and other government remittance.
6. Conduct account reconciliations to verify the integrity of accounting records.
7. Support accounts payable processes, including reviewing and processing vendor invoices.
8. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure financial goals are met.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in bookkeeping, financial management, or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and tools such as Sage 50 and Quickbooks.
3. 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
