This prestigious role is pivotal in maintaining the operational excellence and efficiency of our fleet management across all our subsidiaries, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients while maximising sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Role Overview The role will report directly to the Group Head of Safety and will primarily be based within the Liverpool office, although ongoing and regular travel will be required to other Company offices throughout the UK to support the role as required. This may include overnight stay, depending on the location / distance involved All travel costs will be covered, and the role will include the provision of Vehicle allowance to support the use of own vehicle (business use insurance must be held). Responsibilities Supporting the Head of Group Safety with day-to-day administrative activities, including the planning and coordination of all activities to support the ‘Safety Health Environment and Quality (SHEQ)’ Department key functions Liaise with Group Heads of Department (HR, Fleet, etc.) / Other Department Representatives to take their ongoing feedback and input re: health and safety arrangements Oversee and monitor the activities of all Group ‘SHEQ’ Coordinators – including acting as escalation for any support, guidance (or support) required. Assist the Head of Group Safety with the collation of various information to develop SHEQ Monitoring reports (including monthly Board Report) Assist the Head of Group Safety with the development and distribution of Health and Safety Communications (Toolbox Talks, etc.) throughout the group. Maintain the SHEQ Folders on Teams / SharePoint with up to date policies, documents, etc. Assist the Head of Group Safety with the maintenance of ISO / accreditations – gather evidence, attend external audits to support ongoing certification Carry out internal ISO audits with the individual companies (full certified training will be given) Make notes at meetings – book in key diary events (meetings, etc.) / book training / book consultants, etc. Booking in appointments / diary management for Head of Group Safety Visiting Company premises to meet with local HSQE Coordinators and SHEQ Leads to offer support and guidance Essential Skills And Experience Demonstrable experience in a similar role Good communicator via telephone and email and MUST have the confidence and experience in dealing with Senior Management / Board Directors Experience of Microsoft Package – word, excel and outlook Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Teams to arrange and carry out Meetings and project Management Must have experience within the Energy, Renewable and Mechanical / Electrical Servicing, Maintenance and Installation industries within the Social Housing market Prince 2 accredited Benefits And Perks Competitive salary Car Allowance Pension Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.
