Are you a great teacher ready to make a real difference in a school where children thrive, staff are valued, and community is at the heart of everything we do?
Oasis Academy Blakenhale is a vibrant and exciting place to be. As a three-form entry school set on a spacious site with a nursery and community hub, we offer a wonderful environment to teach in. We are proud to be an OFSTED-rated 'Good' school where students behave exceptionally well, and both children and staff flourish in our positive, nurturing atmosphere. With a strong focus on health and fitness, we are thrilled to be one of only six Beacon Well Schools in the country. Our highly skilled and passionate team is committed to delivering the highest quality education and care for every child through our curriculum enabled by one-to-one devices. We are part of Oasis Community Learning, which has great opportunities for professional development and a strong ethos.
We wish to appoint an excellent and committed class teacher to join our team.
We are looking for:
1. An excellent classroom teacher with great interpersonal skills, uncompromisingly high expectations, and the ability to work as part of a team.
2. A teacher that has an in-depth understanding of the curriculum and delivering exceptional outcomes.
3. An individual who is committed to their own continued professional development.
4. A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
5. Someone who is fully committed to going above and beyond to fulfil our role in supporting community transformation.
6. Someone who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of humour to a team.
7. Experienced Primary teachers or enthusiastic ECTs are welcome to apply.
Blakenhale Infant is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We particularly welcome applications from underrepresented groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation, or religion.
