Job overview
We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse - Renal who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The East and North Herts Trust has a proven track record of successfully developing and managing Renal Dialysis Units at Stevenage, St Albans Luton and Dunstable, and more recently at Harlow and Bedford. Spanning over two decades, our experience in dialysis, innovative research and treatment concepts has earned us national and international recognition.
You will be joining an experienced Renal Team who have extensive experience in developing Workforce to manage Renal Units. You will be trained in the delivery of high quality patient care in a dialysis setting.
You may or may not have experience in Renal Nursing but must demonstrate a commitment to developing expertise in the management of patients with chronic kidney disease who require Haemodialysis.

Main duties of the job
You will work as a member of the multidisciplinary clinical team in renal. Demonstrate a willingness to develop the knowledge and skills required to care for renal patients.
You will be expected to rotate between the nephrology ward, haemodialysis units and home therapies as service needs dictate and to gain invaluable experience.
To participate in the Renal On-call service as necessary.

Person specification
* Registered Nurse or equivalent with live NMC registration
* Recognised teaching and assessing qualification
Previous Experience
* Ward experience as a qualified nurse
* Demonstrable haemodialysis experience
