Job Description:
As a Graduate Electronic Engineer, you will join the team to help design analogue, digital and computer-based electronic systems. Your role is to solve our customers' complex safety challenges with solutions that provide full, long-term protection and control of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Agree on the optimum solution in terms of cost, timescale, and ease of implementation.
2. Help establish a number of customer solutions.
3. Conduct detailed analysis of specific aspects of existing equipment to establish requirements for replacement or refurbishment.
4. Liaise with suppliers regarding the supply and support of third-party equipment.
5. Carry out specified design and development work in your area of competence.
6. Support installation and commissioning of equipment on the customer’s site.
7. Maintain good customer relationships by presenting a professional engineering approach to the work.
8. Support the team's engineering capabilities with individual skill and determination.
9. Develop personal engineering capability across the safety system and instrumentation areas.
10. Produce technical reports, clearly identifying the preferred course of action and rationale after analysis of legacy designs.
11. Carry out all work ethically, safely, and in accordance with the relevant standards and best practices within the nuclear industry.
12. Perform any other relevant duties as required.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
1. Able to demonstrate skill and project experience in electronics/electrical systems.
2. Demonstrable ability in electrical work and/or analogue and digital electronics using conventional logic families and programmable logic.
3. Appropriate degree in an electrical or electronic field.
4. DOORS knowledge is an advantage.
5. Capable of producing good oral and written communications.
Desired Skills:
1. Experience in electronics equipment design or maintenance in a regulated industry.
Essential Functions:
1. Flexibility to travel within the UK.
2. Ability to obtain security clearance up to SC level.
