A superb opportunity has arisen at a well-established company based North of Lancaster for a Finance Assistant. With great commuter links from the M6, this is an all-encompassing role that provides support to a group of 4 companies.
Responsibilities:
1. Creating Purchase orders for jobs
2. Full Debtors/Creditors Function, including invoice processing, payments, chasing debtors
3. Job Analysis reporting
4. Updated Sales forecasting spreadsheet
5. Staff expense claim processing
6. CIS returns and submissions
7. Monitor and update approved supplier list
8. Petty Cash management
9. Process payroll times
10. All balance sheet reconciliations including prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, bank including all journals
11. VAT returns and submissions including reconciliation
12. Help to prepare monthly management accounts with commentary detailing profitability YTD, comparing PY vs Budget
13. Preparation of year-end files for auditors
