About The Opportunity
WeWork is seeking a talented, hands-on member for our People Team who exemplifies teamwork and professionalism. The People Partner will advise and collaborate with WeWork’s Leaders for our EMEA Territory to create, implement and enhance value-focused people solutions that drive growth, increase efficiency and strengthen capabilities.
The People Partner will act as a partner to WeWork’s organization to drive growth, increase talent efficiency, strengthen people capabilities and enable scale across the business. In this role, you will be responsible for both contributing to the development of organization and people programs & initiatives, as well as the successful execution of various company-wide people programs, business specific change initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
In this role you will:
1. Take ownership of employee concerns and act as a partner, trusted advisor, and coach.
2. Ensure compliance with company policies and local employment laws.
3. Partner with other departments to expedite employee questions/concerns (i.e., payroll, benefits, leaves, compensation, global mobility, learning, etc.).
4. Ensure that HR systems are kept current and accurate for proper reporting.
5. Adopt and adapt existing WeWork HR practices and policies, developing local approaches to manage an effective regional HR function.
6. Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure company’s compliance.
About You:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject is strongly preferred.
2. 4 to 6 years experience in generalist HR capacity with a firm understanding of all of the disciplines within HR: Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Systems, HR Operations.
3. Proven ability to diagnose problems and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative.
4. Experience with Workday, Salesforce, Tableau, GSuite preferred.
5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information and communicate with all levels of employees.
6. Experience supporting multiple countries and basic knowledge about local labor laws.
7. Professional working proficiency in French or German is a plus.
8. Can thrive in a frequently changing, yet extremely exciting and vibrant environment, that will make a positive impact on the culture and employee experience.
9. Can cope with a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with, at times, a high volume of work.
10. Ability to work cross-functionally and establish trusted partnerships, effectively and efficiently.
11. Has a strong solutions-focused mindset and ability to identify the root cause in order to ensure issues don't have to be revisited.
