We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner / Non Medical Prescriber to join our Primary Care team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A prison located in Greenwich, Belmarsh. HMP Belmarsh is a male, maximum security prison that has a capacity for 910 inmates. Healthcare at HMP Belmarsh includes Dentists, Primary Care, Mental Health, Substance abuse, and Pharmacy.
Hours: Primarily Mon - Fri, potentially some late shifts.
Salary: This position is full time, with an annual salary up to £68,680 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing:
As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner / Non Medical Prescriber, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team.
* Work with a multi-disciplinary team of registered and non-registered professionals including mental health and substance misuse practitioners.
* Act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times.
* Support senior clinicians on site as part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
* Ensure patient safety, the management of complex cases, and apply the most up-to-date treatment methodologies to patient care.
What we'll look for in you:
* Registered Nurse - Adult, Mental Health with current NMC registration or Registered Paramedic with current HCPC registration
* Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification
* MSc in Advanced Practice
* Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best practice guidance and identifying risk to patients.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
