We have an exciting opportunity for a confident Senior Workforce System's Analyst Band 5 to work within the Workforce Analytics Team. The candidate is expected to support the provision of information and analytics to the Trust's business needs. The role requires analytical skills and the ability to guide and advise on business intelligence and information management.
We are seeking excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service is essential, as are an aptitude for problem solving and attention to detail. Previous experience of assessing information and data from multiple sources and determining the integrity of the data is essential.
You will be expected to line manage the Workforce Systems Analysts and deputise for the Workforce Analytical & Systems Manager when necessary. There is a requirement for the candidate to work autonomously and with minimal supervision.
The candidate should be comfortable with the production and presentation of workforce information and intelligence to support workforce reporting and planning for the trust. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and coach a team, and experience of delivering training is also required.
The team is hybrid working; currently, this is mainly working from home, but your base will be St Mary's Hospital. There will be an expectation to be onsite when required.
Main Duties of the Job
The role demands a high level of technical, administrative and communication skills that will support in providing accurate and timely delivery of data to meet internal and external business needs. This will be delivered through the provision of appropriately formatted data sets and reports from which informed decisions can be made.
You will be a critical member of a small team working in a busy fast-paced environment supporting colleagues to articulate their information requirements and advising on how data can be used to support business processes and decision-making.
The post holder will demonstrate the ability to:
1. Prioritise, plan, and manage time effectively and independently ensuring that deadlines are met.
2. Process and rationalise information, contextualise problems and communicate ideas to a variety of audiences.
3. Present effectively via workforce reports or visualisations internally and externally.
4. Adaptability, particularly in picking up project work and assisting with current work streams.
