An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Commissioning and Procurement Team for a highly motivated individual to work as a Commissioning Officer. Our objective is to commission services which meet the identified needs of residents, deliver improved outcomes, achieve value for money and support the Council Plan. Commissioning is a busy team and we are looking for individuals who are highly organised, confident communicators and able to work under pressure. You don’t need a background in social care or commissioning, but the successful candidate will: Have knowledge and experience of managing projects Be highly IT literate Able to analyse and interpret data Manage and develop relationships with providers Work closely with Commissioning Managers This role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside a range of people, both within the Council and from other agencies and key stakeholder groups.
