Job Description
Mechanical Design Engineer (Systems) required to work for a leading Aircraft Organisation in Central Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a permanent position.
Responsibilities
1. Act as Mechanical Design Engineer designing system modifications with focus on Environmental Control System (ECS), Supplemental Heating, Equipment Cooling, Cabin Humidification, Soundproofing, Oxygen, Smoke-Detection and Water/ Waste including associated modifications on aircraft internal and external primary and secondary structure and interior furnishing.
2. Support the Team Leader Mechanical Design Engineering in administrative and organisational tasks.
3. Ensure correct consideration and application of Certification Basis, Rules and Regulations, Means of Compliance and Interpretations in the engineering output for the product, system or installation designed.
4. Development of Mechanical Drawings (2D/3D-CAD)
5. Selection of equipment, components and materials
6. Preparation of technical documentation such as reports, analysis, test procedures and installation instructions
7. Preparation of engineering design standards
Mandatory Requirements
8. Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or relevant field
9. Profound knowledge of fundamental physics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, aerospace technology and materials – basic knowledge of acoustics is advantageous.
10. Proactive Teamplayer with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
11. Proficient in MS Office and popular 2D/3D design software (AutoCad, CATIA)
Desirable Requirements
12. AMOS experience would be an advantage.
13. French and/or German is advantageous.
