Project Support Officer
Location: Bristol
Contract: Until 31 March 2026, with possible extension
Hours: Part time 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE)
Closing Date: Monday 17 February 2025
Do you enjoy the challenge of working with clients experiencing multiple disadvantages? Are you interested in joining a multi-agency cross-sector partnership team?
We are looking for an experienced Project Support Officer who can provide a high-quality comprehensive project support service to the Link Team alongside administrative support to the Team Manager. The successful candidate will work proactively to manage the office and activities of the service including taking the initiative with identified projects. Experience and knowledge of formal project methodologies and previous work on project teams is essential. The Project Support Officer will play a core role in the evaluation of this exciting and impactful service. This is a great opportunity for a talented and self-motivated person.
The Link Team
is funded by NHS England and is a multi-agency partnership including Second Step, St Mungos, BDP, AWP Mental Health NHS Trust and Bristol City Council. The team has adopted a multi-disciplinary model, including engagement workers, a trainee, a psychologist, a social worker, and a team manager. This new service is designed to complement rather than replace or supersede existing local provision. The service works with a group of 30 individuals who are both street homeless, or at imminent risk of homelessness; and experiencing severe emotional distress associated with a mental health problem (which may or may not have been given a formal diagnosis). The Link Team aims to improve engagement for service users, creating a bridge between individuals and the wide range of expertise across the system, whilst providing person-centred, trauma-informed care at every stage of the pathway.
Please ensure personal statements reflect the post as outlined in the role profile, including the person specification.
Closing date: Monday 17th February 2025
Interview date(s): Wednesday 26th February 2025
