Moore Barlow is seeking aLegal Assistant to join our Court of Protection team in Southampton (Chandlers Ford). About the role Our Legal Assistants are a critical part of our team who undertake a mix of both administrative duties, and providing outstanding service to our Clients, assisting them with queries, client on-boarding and other regulatory checks/requirements. Youll work within a collaborative team who truly value each others input and support. In addition to administrative tasks and client communication, you will also support various financial and legal matters within the Court of Protection team. This includes, but is not limited to, working closely with the teams Finance Administrator, assisting with billing administration, preparing and managing engagement letters with some dictation, handling new client enquiries, file opening and closing, and liaising with cost draftsmen. Our Court of Protection Team is responsible for helping and supporting individuals with diminished mental capacity, and they do so in a truly caring way this relates back to our core values as a firm, including always being Human First.
