Salary: £31,366 to £47,000 + car allowance
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday

What will I be doing?
As a Territory Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring CitySprint delivers consistent and exceptional account management to our clients. You will have full commercial responsibility for the retention, revenue, and margin performance of a defined portfolio of clients. You will positively contribute by developing sales plans and strategies with your team that are robust and fit for purpose. You will report to the Regional Commercial Manager and grow your territory revenue by directly selling solutions to new and current users through face-to-face contact. Your role requires daily travel within your assigned territory.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will need strong existing Sales, Business Development, and Account Management experience, and not be fazed by a fast-paced, changeable, and pressurised environment.
Skills needed for a Territory Manager:
1. Ability to nurture & develop a large portfolio valued in excess of £1m of high spending demanding customers through Quarterly & Monthly review Meetings while increasing wallet share.
2. Ability to build & manage pipeline on a short, medium & long-term basis, generating own leads through LinkedIn, Cold Calls, Referrals to win New Business.
3. High-volume, business-to-business (B2B) sales experience with proven sales success.
4. Consultative selling and closing skills or the aptitude to learn these skills through openness to following a structured sales process.
5. Willingness to travel and efficiently plan & manage time to achieve weekly KPI’s while allowing time for dynamic business needs.
6. Effectively manage escalations and hold relevant teams accountable for delivery of positive customer experience and agreed service levels.
7. Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across functions.
8. Ability to understand complex customer requirements & build appropriate solutions for customers through case studies & knowledge of the courier/logistics industry.
9. Knowledge of and ability to use CRM tools such as Salesforce.
10. Exceptional contract negotiation skills.
11. Understanding of Tender/RFI process & comfortable taking ownership of these.
12. Excellent presentation skills and an ability to engage audiences.
13. Ability to effectively collaborate with others to reach mutually agreeable outcomes.
14. Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational skills.
15. Actively seeks innovative ways to improve processes, products, and client experience.
16. Demonstrates superior judgment and excels at utilizing information to build business case and enact positive change.
17. Understands the hierarchy and culture of customer and supplier organizations and can identify the decision makers and influencers.
18. Demonstrates the capacity to manage changing priorities and ambiguity while remaining calm and controlled.
