A vacancy has arisen for a Retail Catering Supervisor to join a small friendly evening shift team within our Ellerby's restaurant.
The role primarily involves to be hands on working with the team and ensuring staff are inspired and motivated to deliver best service to customers, and adhering to the service steps.
The post holder will be at the forefront of the implementation of the actions from the business /operational plan for evening shifts, which involves introducing new hot concepts.
Main Duties include, but not limited to:
• Supervising a small team on evening shifts and working on the tills, serving customers on the hot counter, preparing food for the deli and hot counter, cleaning and making coffee.
• You will be required to place orders for all supplies, liaise with suppliers and conduct regular food safety and health and safety audits. and ensuring food safety, health and safety and quality standards are consistently maintained.
• You will complete weekly/monthly paperwork and may be required to attend meetings to discuss matters /issues pertaining to the evening shifts.
