Harris Hill is looking for an events candidates to fulfil the role of Networks and Engagements Officer, for 2-3 months, 4 days per week, on a hybrid basis at a policy based charity in London. Job purpose. To coordinate and deliver engagement opportunities that enables the voluntary sector to connect, collaborate, learn and share at online, or in-person, events. To be the main point of contact for their partnership work with local infrastructure organisations with whom they collaborate on Member Assemblies, ensuring timely and professional communications. To share insight gained at events with partners and across the organisation. To provide expert administration and coordination support to ensure the smooth running of event and networking opportunities. Knowledge Knowledge of volunteering and the voluntary sector Creating a customer journey Skills Planning and organisational skills to manage competing priorities and coordinate events. Applying expert attention to detail whilst managing a busy workload. Confidence to utilise a range of online platforms and systems e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Zoom etc. or the ability to learn these quickly. Facilitation skills, online and in person. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with colleagues and partners at all levels. Excellent communication skills, with ability to summarise feedback into written reports.
