About The Service
This role currently attracts a market supplement of £3,000 (full time equivalent), reviewed annually. Our service offers secondary mental health care for adults living with dementia and people diagnosed with mental ill health over 65 years. We also work closely with the Young Onset Dementia Service and Local Authority community teams.

If you are looking to expand or develop your understanding of mental ill health whilst working collaboratively with health colleagues, look no further. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Grade 8 Social Worker to join us in Mental Health Services for Older People. Our philosophy is to foster a culture where employees are valued, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. We are an integrated team, based in Llanfair unit, Llandough hospital. We work collaboratively with multiple professionals from local authority and health. We provide staff with regular supervision and hold a weekly meeting to discuss complex cases in a multidisciplinary arena.

Through the provision of recovery focussed care and treatment, we encourage employees to adopt a strengths-based approach whilst striving to achieve personal outcomes for individuals. Our team works closely with citizens, families, and carers to ensure they are safe and live well in their communities. The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.
