We are looking for caring enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team at The Anchorage, based in Grimsby.
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Pay & Hours:
* £12.50 per hour
* Night shifts – 12 hour shifts
* Working on a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)
The Role:
You will oversee the care team and ensure the safe delivery of care, support and medication with all standards met during your shift. You will be fully supported by both the Deputy and Residential Manager. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Coach and mentor new and existing staff
* Review care plans
* Prepare, administer, store, record and order medication
* Personal care (washing, dressing, oral hygiene)
* Maintain and develop professional relations with families
* Reporting any safeguarding concerns
* Promote independence of our residents at all times to improve their quality of life
About you:
* Have an NVQ Level 2 in Care, however this is not essential as our Team Leader Development Programme will support those wanting to take the next step in their career
* Be confident in supervising others and be able to manage/prioritise workloads
* Be able to work as part of a team
* Have a positive attitude.
Additional Information:
The Anchorage is a 41 bedded enhanced specialist care home split between an 13 bedded enhanced dementia community (The Haverstoe Suite) and a 28 bedded residential dementia community situated in Grimsby. It received a rating of Outstanding from the Care Quality Commission at its last inspection.

We provide a high quality approach to meaningful and fulfilling activities which are a key part to enabling people to engage and live well with dementia.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
