This is an opportunity to be part of the Senior Leadership team at Wimbledon Park Primary School and to play a key role in the strategic development of the school.
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to lead our Early Years, consisting of 11 staff working across three reception classes and a morning nursery class. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join us as we strengthen our Senior Leadership team, where you can make a real and lasting difference.
We are looking for a person with ambition, passion, and commitment - ideal candidates will:
1. Have a track record of being an excellent class teacher.
2. Understand what excellent teaching and provision looks like in the early years.
3. Have a strong knowledge of childhood development and EYFS curriculum.
4. Be excellent communicators and team players, with the ability to lead, motivate, enthuse, and support others.
The successful candidate could either be an experienced leader or an enthusiastic new leader. What matters more is that this person will bring positive energy, an innovative mindset, and a desire to improve continuously.
We welcome prospective candidates visiting us to get to know more about the school. Please contact our Headteacher, Paul Lufkin - contact details found in the Candidate letter.
