Family Support Worker, North / West Oxfordshire Salary range £25,250 - £30,044 (P2)35 hours per week Location: Across Oxfordshire Ref: 1372 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to be part of our new children and young people’s substance use service in Oxfordshire. As part of the new Cranstoun Here4YOUth service, you will provide a range of tailored interventions with young people depending upon their presenting drug of choice, complexity and need. You will be starting our new pilot of our family service whereby we will be taking a whole family approach to supporting those impacted by substance use. You will be training to deliver MPACT and will be supported to deliver a range of group and 1-2-1 support. At this exciting stage of this pilot, there is ample opportunity to be involved with developments of this new and exciting part of the service. You will be responsible for holding and managing a case load of children, young people, and whole families across the Oxfordshire area. You will be based at various children and family centres, engaging with people where they feel most comfortable, including schools, colleges, other partner agencies and local community venues. Working with a trauma informed approach, you will provide specialist assessments, care planning, and deliver evidence based psychosocial brief and structured interventions, through one-to-one appointments, groups, and online. You will work closely with a range of partner agencies to support people to achieve positive change whilst providing opportunities to improve their life chances for a brighter future. We combine proven expertise in working with young people and substance use, with the latest evidence and innovative approaches, to ensure the service is effective and makes a difference to the lives of young people and their families.
