About the role
You will work closely with the dedicated course administrators on the delivery and development of both the undergraduate Clinical Neurology & Brain Sciences iBSc (for 3rd year MBBS students) and the postgraduate MSc/PG Certificate/PG Diploma in Clinical Neurology via Distance Learning (CNDL) courses.
You will design lectures and tutor resources, design other activities intended to promote student engagement, and engage with students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
You will also participate in teaching delivery, student assessment and supervision, provision of pastoral care, and the student admissions process.
We are looking for applicants who have a passion for delivering neurology education. Our iBSc is an exciting degree course which has received excellent feedback and very high numbers of student applications since its onset, and this is a great opportunity to help shape its further development as it grows in the coming years.
We aim to support you in furthering your own continuing professional development. This can include support for applications in applying for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, and in preparing submissions for medical education conferences or publications where applicable.
The role is available from 02 June. We would be happy to consider candidates looking to work part-time on a job share basis or similar; please indicate in your application how many hours per week you would like to work if this is the case.
If you need reasonable adjustments or a more accessible format to apply for this job online, or have any queries regarding the application process, please contact the Institute of Neurology HR Team ().
