Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With affluent opportunities for career development, JD Group is the place to be if you are motivated by progression and interested in developing your career.
Responsibilities:
1. Book in, pre-retail & file away all store deliveries ensuring that any discrepancies are recorded and reported.
2. Follow all security procedures in place to minimise stock loss.
3. Regularly restock the shop floor, ensuring products are correctly displayed and accessible.
4. Contribute to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling, and managing the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organised manner.
5. Conduct regular stock counts, update inventory records & address discrepancies.
6. Maintain a clean, tidy and organised stockroom for efficient access and storage.
7. Adhere to Health & Safety regulations, report any hazardous or issues promptly.
8. Ensure that products are accessible, constantly available, and properly distributed.
9. To deputise for other staff, work within departments, or carry out other duties as required.
10. Represent JD Sports in the most professional manner at all times.
Role Objectives and KPI’s:
1. Ensure the timely and accurate replenishment of stock on the shop floor to maintain optimal product availability.
2. Ensure all stock is received, processed and organised accurately and promptly.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records and an organised, efficient stockroom environment.
4. To deputise for other colleagues, work within departments or carry out other duties as required.
