Colleague Relations Lead Stafford Fulfilment Centre (SFC) £40,000 per annum / 39 hours per week, Mon Fri, flexibility to work occasional weekend / nights based on needs of the business. If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you We are looking for a Colleague Relations Lead to oversee all colleague relations processes at the SFC. This role involves managing a dynamic onsite team and collaborating closely with operational leadership. You will play a pivotal part in advising, coaching, and supporting our leadership team to create a positive and high-performing workplace culture. This is an office-based role with ad-hoc travel to support meetings within the Support Office (Handforth) and across the operational network when required. Key Responsibilities: Lead & Develop: Own all colleague relations activities, guide and coach the SFC operational leadership team, and ensure effective people practices. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with the People Business Partner and wider team to develop strategies that drive engagement, performance, and leadership development. People Advice & Support: Provide expert advice on people-related matters, including complex cases, disciplinary actions, and grievances, ensuring compliance with employment law. Team Leadership: Manage a team of colleague relations advisors, upskill the team, and ensure resource allocation meets service level agreements (SLAs). Engagement & Wellbeing : Drive engagement and wellbeing initiatives across the SFC, supporting operational managers to keep colleagues engaged. People Development : Design and deliver training on key people practices and policies to ensure managers make values-based decisions aligned with our brand and culture. Influence & Impact: Lead organisational programmes in ED&I, talent management, succession planning, and change management, aligning with our business objectives. What Were Looking For: Experience : Proven experience in a colleague relations role within a distribution environment, with a solid background in HR and ER. Leadership : Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead a small team and influence stakeholders at all levels. Emotional Intelligence : High emotional intelligence with excellent judgment and decision-making abilities. Confidentiality & Trust : Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust at all levels of the organisation. Culture & Change Advocate : Passion for supporting culture, change, and development. Essential Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, organisational skills with a proactive, results-driven approach. Desirable Skills: Operational Experience: Experience in an operational role within a distribution or retail environment. CIPD Qualification: Holding a CIPD qualification is highly desirable.
