Minimum Requirements
* You must hold a current Cambridge CELTA/Trinity TESOL certificate, PGCE, or equivalent.
* You must be educated to degree level or NQF Level 6 (or equivalent).
* You must be proficient in English (IELTS 9 or equivalent).
* Knowledge of Young Learner ELT material.
* Previous experience working with Young Learners.
* Experience in a residential setting and working with international students.
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and client-focused approach.
* Trinity DipTESOL or Cambridge DELTA.
* Experience of writing your own materials or materials development.
* Management position on similar Young Learner courses.

Role Overview: As the Director of Studies (DoS), you will play an essential leadership role in overseeing the academic programme for young learners (8-17 year olds), managing teaching staff, and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality English language programme. This position requires a skilled and experienced EFL professional with excellent organisational, interpersonal, and pedagogical abilities. You will be part of a dynamic, multicultural environment, coordinating a team of EFL teachers, providing ongoing professional development, and maintaining strong relationships with students, centre staff, and stakeholders throughout the summer programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Academic Programme Management: Oversee curriculum implementation, develop materials, monitor the programme, manage student placements, and liaise with Head Office.
* Staff Management and Development: Conduct inductions and CPDs, support teachers, cover absences, observe classes, manage schedules, and address staff issues.
* Student Support: Monitor student progress, address concerns from students or Group Leaders, and ensure satisfaction.
* Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and collaborate with other departments.
* Arrival and Departure Assistance: Assist with student arrivals and departures, and provide academic orientation.
* Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with Group Leaders, Head Office, and Centre Manager on academic matters.
