Triage Engineer (975) Cranfield £27.94 per hour We are recruiting a Triage Engineer for one of our automotive clients based in Cranfield. You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is a long-term contract role. The contract is on an ongoing basis a may run for several years. Key Responsibilities • Lead Quality investigations for connected car Engineering team • Provide technical support for cloud-based issue analysis. • Utilise analytical tools to identify trends & triage concerns. • Utilise & Enhance MS Azure OMS Queries to debug & Triage concerns. • Extract logs from the cloud & coordinate with the supplier to fix the concern. • Generate reports & share with the members locally & globally. • Proficient in using ticket management tools like Jira • Cross functional working with project quality, management, and engineering teams to ensure early response & transparency to concerns. • Conduct Root cause investigation of complex concerns including the necessary stakeholders. Background and experience: • Bachelor of Engineering degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline • Have relevant experience in automotive electrical and electronic development relating to vehicle body electronics, navigation or telematics systems e.g. in aerospace, telecoms or similar. • Have knowledge of the electrical architecture of modern vehicle electronics and experience of fault finding. • Have a good awareness of Connected car system onboard (in vehicle) & offboard (cloud) side. • Have a good understand network communications and cloud system. • Good experience in Kusto Query is an advantage but not a must. • Must be proficient in the ticket management tools. • Be able to demonstrate and have practical experience in problem solving tools and techniques. • Have good written and verbal communication skills. • Competent with PC applications including advanced Microsoft excel and Microsoft power point. Qualifications & Experience: • Degree level • Working Patten 3 days in the office 2 days at home. This may change depending on the Testing schedule. • Working day 8am to 5pm. • For the first two weeks of employment – the contactor will be required to come to site full time for training. LMIND
